Many workers are in regular contact with materials that could harm their health and might not be aware of the risks. It is not just about wearing PPE!

Harmful substances include:

  • - Mineral oils such as diesel and paraffin;
  • - Chemicals such as alkalis and chromates;
  • - Solvents and degreasers.

These materials can be very dangerous to your health if not handled correctly.

Did you know what effects such substances can cause? Dermatitis, oil acne, cancer and chrome ulceration are just some of the risks associated with the negligent use of harmful substances.

This is why is essential that if you are close to such substances on a daily basis, you should protect yourself in different ways, such as:

  • - Using protective clothing and equipment
  • - Use barrier creams
  • - Use welfare facilities
