If you work on a construction project, you have a legal duty to ensure that Health & Safety legislation is followed. Not only do those working on projects have specific duties, so do those planning project tasks. Commercial clients requiring the work to be undertaken have duties too!
The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 requires that an employer provides whatever information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety at work of your employees.
Particularly for construction projects the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) have been developed to help reduce the numbers of deaths or serious injuries on construction sites.
Libben have developed a 1-day course which is designed to simplify both the requirements and understanding of the CDM 2015 Regulations, which aims to help improve Health and Safety standards in the industry by helping you:
Our course covers all of the required aspects, and it will leave you feeling confident in the fact you have covered all bases and are legally compliant, take a look at our course page for more information.
