This course provides the basic knowledge and practical skills involved in operating the Industrial Counterbalance and reach Forklift trucks and be able to operate the machine safely and correctly in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions and accepted good practice. On successful completion, the delegates will be expected to have attained a level of operating skill which will comply with the standard laid down in accordance with HSE Code of Practice L117.
This course is ideal for delegates who in the past have operated fork trucks but have received no formal training.

Nearly half of all accidents involving abrasive wheels are due to an unsafe system of work or operator error. This training advises on precautions you can take to prevent accidents in the use of abrasive wheels, in particular injury resulting from either wheel breakage or contact with a running wheel.
All those erecting scaffolding should be competent (or in the case of trainees, supervised by a competent person) for the type of scaffolding work they are undertaking and should have received appropriate training relevant to the type and form of scaffolding they are working on.

This course instructs a user to select, inspect and use a harness and associated equipment safely when using a MEWP or when working at height.
Where Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) is used, it must be able to provide adequate protection for individual wearers. RPE can’t protect the wearer if it leaks.
