Terms & Conditions

Course ‘Direct’ Bookings:

Delegates will be allocated a place once a booking has been received.

Delegate places on events/training courses will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Completing a booking does not guarantee a place.

If a course is fully booked, you will be notified and allocated a place on a future course.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking should you fail to attend by the terms of your joining instructions.

 

Course ‘Third-Party’ Bookings:

Third-party bookers may call/email ahead to request availability for a training course. There are no guarantees that all places will be available until payment terms for the training course have been met.

Delegates will be allocated a place once a booking has been received.

Delegate places on events/training courses will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Completing a booking does not guarantee a place.

If a course is fully booked, you will be notified and allocated a place to book your client(s) on a future course.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking should you fail to attend by the terms of your joining instructions.

 

Acknowledgment / Joining Instructions:

The booker will receive an acknowledgment e-mail within 24 working hours to confirm that their booking has been received. This time may be longer should you book out of hours, on weekends or during public holidays. Should this not be received, please contact Libben on 0843 289 2201.

Joining instructions will be sent approximately 2 weeks prior to the event confirming the running of the course, detailing the date, start/finish times, venue, and directions.

Please contact Libben if you have not received the joining instructions at least 1 week prior to the event.

 

Fees:

Delegate fees contribute toward the costs of running a course. These costs include - administration, venue, lunch (if applicable), drinks (cold drinks only in some venues), trainer expenses and any materials provided by Libben.

For accredited courses, fees will include registration, publications, assessment, and certification. However, as Libben delivers different accredited training courses, each has different scheme rules in place.

 

CITB training courses

The price advertised for a CITB training course includes the cost of a download/electronic CITB publication(s).

Delegates have a choice between either a download/electronic CITB publication(s) or a hardback publication(s) Should a delegate require a hardback publication(s) (instead or in addition to a download/electronic CITB publication(s)). this will be additionally payable as per the prices set by CITB on their website https://www.citb.co.uk/ before the course starts.

Each delegate will receive a copy of their own publication, in a format of their choice, on the first day of the course. This will include tokens for E copies of the publications, where used and they must retain this on completion of the course.

To aid in professional classroom delivery (and to ensure that delegates who potentially fail to bring an electronic reading device (laptop / smartpad etc.)). Libben provides each delegate with a temporary 'classroom hard copy' CITB publication(s) for the duration of the course. Late bookers who have purchased a hard copy(s) with their booking, may be requested to both use and leave with the 'classroom hard copy' at the end of a course.

 

IOSH training courses -

The price advertised for an IOSH training course includes the cost of a hardback publication.

A hardback publication will be issued to each delegate during a classroom course.

A hardback publication will be posted by Libben to each delegate before a remote course starts.

 

First Aid training courses –

The price advertised for a first aid training course includes the cost of a hardback publication.

A hardback publication will be issued to each delegate during a classroom course.

 

NEBOSH training courses –

The price advertised for a NEBOSH training course includes the cost of a hardback publication.

A hardback publication will be issued to each delegate during a classroom course.

A hardback publication will be posted by Libben to each delegate before a remote course starts.

A digital audiobook will also be sent to each delegate before the course starts.

Payment is required prior to course commencement.

 

Discounts:

Those who directly book training courses with Libben automatically receive a 10% discount for any courses booked within 28 days of completing a training course.

 

Payment plans:

Libben offers payment plans for delegates who wish to pay by installments. Libben must be contacted to make an arrangement for a payment plan. In any case, full payment must be received before the training course booked is to be sat.

Failure to pay (in full) before the course starts, your place will be canceled and our ‘cancellation policy' will be followed.

 

Course Deposits:

A delegate can pay a 50% + vat deposit per course to both reserve and book a place on our advertised website prices.

Multiple bookings can be made, 50% + vat will be required per delegate.

The remaining balance/payment must be received before the course start date (full advertised course price at time of booking minus the 50% + vat deposit).

Failure to pay (in full) before the course starts, your place will be cancelled and our ‘cancellation policy’ will be followed.

Should a delegate wish to change a course date. This can be done for free at least 30 days before the course starts.

Should a delegate wish to change a course date after 30 days before the course starts, the Libben ‘cancellation policy’ will be applied.

'In-house' booked courses can be reserved with a deposit of 50% + vat per course at our advertised website prices. The same terms as the 50% + vat deposit points as above stand.

 

Cancellation policy:

Cancellations or postponement can only be accepted in writing or via email.

Postponement of any course (by Libben), payment will be carried over to the next future course date. Should Libben cancel an event a full refund may be made.

Should delegates cancel the following charges apply:-

30 days or more prior to the event – no fee

15-29 days prior to the event – 75% of the course fee

14 days or less (or failure to attend or fail to attend by the terms of your joining instructions) – 100% of the course fee(s)

Substitute delegates will be welcome at any time before the course start date with no penalty charged.

 

Failure to pay by terms of invoice:

Payment terms are strictly by the terms of our invoice (Unless special arrangements have been made).

The Company reserves the right to apply a charge of 8% per annum, above the current base rate to any overdue payments.

In the event of non-payment the fees from the Companies Collection Agency will be added to the outstanding account.

Certification:

On successful completion of any course, delegates will receive a certificate.

Delegates who have successfully completed ‘accredited’ courses will receive their certificate by post. Or, should the certificate be digital, it shall be emailed.

Should a delegate not receive a certificate or lose a certificate, Libben must be contacted to arrange for a replacement. There may be additional costs incurred for this service.

Should a delegate attend an awareness course an ‘electronic’ copy of the certificate will be emailed to the person who has booked the course. If a ‘hard’ copy of a certificate is required this will incur additional cost of £5 + vat per certificate required.

The details provided are held and processed by Libben on computer. The information is used for the administration of the training course. Some details are disclosed to course tutors.
